Joint Lesotho – South Africa Women’s Month 2015 Celebration Day Three Women’s Rally in Modderpoort near Ladybrand
On the 22nd of August 2015 after the march to the Maseru Cross Border, women from all walks and backgrounds descended to Modderpoort near Ladybrand for the Women’s Month Rally that took place that afternoon.
These women were addressed by the delegation from both Lesotho and South Africa on the ways forward juxtapose the redressing of the challenges that women from these two countries are faced with. The Mayor of Mantsopa Local Municipality Cllr Sello Denis Ntsepe delivered a vote of thanks to all the stakeholders that were involved in making this event a success from both countries. Amongst the speakers were Malefu Vilakazi and Bathabile Dlamini.
